Prologue to true friends
It was a time of great sorrow the village hidden in the leaf had just lost one of the greatest heroes, the forth hokage, after sealing the nine tails in his own son and telling the third hokage to look after him and make sure he was treated like the hero he is. The hokage did his best to fulfill his wishes, but no one in the leaf could look past what was sealed inside him to see who he truly was. That is until today, the day he meets the girl that carries the ten tails….

I was walking down one of the many streets of the village hidden in the leaf, when I suddenly bumped into someone. At first I panicked. Thinking I was about to get hit again, I covered my head, but nothing happened. I slowly looked up to see a girl about my age looking at me like I was crazy, before I heard her ask me what I was doing, with one of her eyebrows raised and a look of confusion clear on her face.
My first instinct was to apologize, before a ninja ran up and started screaming at me and yelling that I was trying to attack the girl. He was about to hit me in the face when I heard the sound of flesh hitting flesh. I looked up to see the girl with her fist in the man's side. Before I could even react I was being pulled along by the girl down an alleyway toward the hokage tower….
