A Tear...

For the lost,
Hermione wasn't one of those people. She was never a crier, she always ended up mourning instead until she found out that some of the people from the DA were M.I.A. She reached her makeshift bed in between the rubble and the dust, and her eyes started to leak.
"Hey 'Mione. Things will be alright. Everything will turn out fine. We will beat him. Stay strong. For me." She turned her head, but no one was there. The others were still fighting in the midst, so where did the voice come from? She considered her friends, but if the voice was in her head then they must have been a skilled Legilimens. Either way, who's voice calmed her down?

For the dead,
She started to drift off when a person fitting to be a skilled Legilimens popped into her head- Lupin. But he had just passed away holding hands with the one he loved the most. It definitely wasn't Harry or Ron seeming as the voice was smooth and they were really caught up in the war. Another tear dripped from her face onto the pillow by her head.
"Please don't cry. We will get through this. The people you love will be safe soon. Stay strong. For me." The voice managed to help her sort out her thoughts but she still couldn't work out who the voice belonged to. As she started to try to figure it out, she drifted into a land away from the reality surrounding her.

For the ones who are fighting,
"'Mione! Time to get up! I need to sleep," yelled a very loud and tired Ginny. She opened her eyes and another tear ran onto her pillow.
"Why are you crying 'Mione, you've made a snowman shape on the pillow!" I stared at the pillow under my head, trying to compose an answer in my head. I couldn't lie to Ginny, she was my best friend that I could talk about girly stuff.
"Try to answer your best friend's question. She will understand. Don't cry. Stay strong. For me." The identity of the voice really needed to come out because Hermione had fallen in love with the last four words.
"Gin, I don't know how to tell you this, but I've been mourning the loss of all these people, my eye's started to leak." Another tear rolled off her cheek and into her hand.
"It's ok to cry, it's a tough time at the moment but we just have to keep moving forward. Now get up before I collapse on you and not the bed." Her head dropped onto the pillow and she was quietly snoring, just like she had been quietly crying.

For the ones we love.
Another tearful night passed since Ginny's conversation. Hermione sat back on the bench where Bellatrix had been evaporated by Mrs Weasley. Tears started welling up in her eyeswhen she felt a warm hand placed on her shoulder.
"It's all over. Voldemort's dead. Everything will be back to normal soon. Stay strong. For me" Hermione twisted round quickly and grabbed the mysterious person round the neck. She let her tears stream down her face onto his shoulder. She released her grip just enough to crash her lips onto his. He smelled of leather and tasted like mint. She withdrew from the kiss and stared at her mystery person in a slight shock.
"Thank you Draco. But why?"
"Because I... I..."
"Love me?"
"Yeah, now where were we? I remember!" and he replaced lips onto hers.
