In case anyone is wondering why this isn't included with the Cluster of Stars fanfic, I decided that any really short stories I make (300-600 words) are better off standalone; I'd imagine people would be disappointed waiting so long for an update, only to have a new story taking a mere few minutes to read. That's how I feel anyway. That said, enjoy this mini story!

Story Title; Hybrid Discovery
Inside the school cafeteria, Misao was feverishly tucking into her bento. Midway through her food, she suddenly felt the urge to sneeze; she whipped out a handkerchief in the nick of time.
"ACHOO!"
"Bless you!" said Ayano, who was sitting next to her friend.
Misao was about to thank her, when she felt another sneeze coming.
"ACHOO!"
"Bless you!" Ayano repeated.
Misao managed to recover after her near simultaneous sneezes. "Phew! Thanks Ayano! Maybe it's the dust in the air... or the... ah... AH...!"
Misao's third sneeze arrived, just as loudly as the previous two.
"ACHOO-HIC!"
There was silence for a few seconds, as Misao tried to study what had just happened to her. It was indescribable to comprehend... but she did it... and she was living proof of this surreal accomplishment.
"Hey! Hey! Did you hear that?" Misao asked in excitement, tugging on Ayano's sleeve. "It's like I sneezed and then I hiccuped at the same time! I've never done anything like that before!"
"It did sound a bit weird," Ayano replied with a eyesmile, "but I don't think it's something to get so worked up for."
Kagami, opposite the other two girls, rolled her eyes as she continued eating her lunch. Normally, she would make some kind of rebuttal from virtually all of Misao's statements and discoveries. This time however, she thought it wiser to just not get involved.
