A Kiss Before Dying [Competition]
Nymphadora watched as Remus was hit by a spell from Antonin Dolohov, her heart stopped as she ran towards him. The shouts of spells and grunts of pain and the loud sounds of Hogwarts collapsing meant nothing to Tonks has she made away to her husband. She caught him before he could hit the ground, his wound internal and she knew he was done for. He stares at her with a distant look and she felt a sob emerged from her throat, but he let out a shaky breath and she laughed in relief.
"Remus." She started, and he cut her off.
"I love you Dora." He told her with a small smile.
"I love you too, Remus." She said, tears running down her face.
She then lean down and kissed his lips and felt her heartbreak as her husband drew his last breath. Nymphadora cried for what seemed like eternity, for her husband. But her grief was short lived as she heard Antonin Dolohov utter a spell but was cut off by her aunt: Bellatrix Lestrange.
"I shall be the one to kill her." Bellatrix said with a crackle laugh, "AVADA KEDAVRA!"
And then Tonks too was gone from the world.
