Hiya! I'm a new author here, and I just decided to write my own fanfictions after reading so many others! So I hope you all enjoy this!
Disclaimer: I'm only doing one disclaimer for this entire fic, because I don't want to write another disclaimer for EVERY chapter i do. So here goes! I do not own Beyblade! Also, some of my ideas come from other shows like Fullmetal Alchemist, Shaman King (kind of),and Gundam Seed, and I do not own those shows either. So if you see anything familiar in this story, it's most likely because you've seen those two shows before. But I am NOT, repeat, am NOT putting characters from ANY of those shows into this. It's strictly BEYBLADE with IDEAS of those shows!
Please Read and Review! If you review, you give authors yummy food. I don't mind critisisms or flames either because that is healthy food that tastes bad, but is still good for us.
Prologue
Thunder boomed through the night skies of the city, rain pouring on the vulnerable community running through the streets. She sat calmly on the roof of a building observing some teenagers inside a dojo. There were five boys and one girl, all about the age of 14. The rain poured harder and harder, soaking her long, black hair. Her sapphire orbs glistened beautifully, even though there was no light.
"I'll bet you anything I broke some world record! I mean I won the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS for the THIRD time in A ROW!" Tyson boasted. The rest of the teens rolled their eyes at him. They all sat in the living room of the dojo celebrating the victory of the Bladebreakers. They all held a glass of pop in their hands along with a lot of junk food provided by Max.
"Get a grip on yourself would ya? All this is gonna go to your head." Hilary lectured Tyson.
"I think it's too late. It's already gone to his head." Ray said with a grin. Kenny sat on the couch typing furiously on his laptop.
"Whoa! Slow down there Chief. You're gonna cause my circuits to blow like this!" Dizzi complained.
"Oh…sorry Diz, but I have to get this done. School starts soon and I want to make my essay sound exceptional!" Kenny exclaimed. "I have to make a good impression on my teachers, I have to!"
"But…we don't even have to do an essay for the summer." Hilary reasoned.
"Exactly. This will definitely make a great impression on ALL my teachers." Kenny explained while everyone in the room sweatdropped.
Kai gave a small snort as he looked out of the window to the streets in front of the dojo. Indeed, it was pouring outside, but he was inside with people he knew, even though they were the immature brats he thought he never liked. But over time, he had actually grown…fond of them. It was unbelievable, Kai Hiwatari, otherwise known as the lone wolf…friends. Or was he always a lone wolf? He never knew what happened after he escaped the abbey. It was like there was a gap in his mind that wouldn't fill up. His crimson orbs saw a glisten in the distance. Something, or someone was out there.
That shine…it seems so familiar.
She stayed on the rooftop. A figure walked towards the window and looked onto the streets in front of her, and he even seemed at peace. His two-toned hair partially covered his crimson eyes, and they glanced at her for a second. She hesitated, and slowly she moved back into the shadows where no one could see her.
He seems so happy now. Maybe he's better off without someone like me constantly troubling his thoughts. No…he is better off without me. She thought inwardly. She sighed and got up, slowly turning around. She gave a pleasant smile and jumped off the roof. I'm happy for you. Just be careful. Taking one last glance at the dojo and at him, she walked away.
Good-bye Kai.
