Title: Temptation.

By James Carmody.

Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel the Series, they are the property of Joss Whedon... and I will not accept a single red cent for this.

Pairing: First Evil/Faith Lehane.

Characters: Faith Lehane, The First Evil.

Summary: Faith gets tempted by the Original Villain in history, the very same serpent in the garden who messed up humanity all that time ago.

Now for the story:

Faith was laying awake, trying to fall asleep in her room at 1630 Revello Drive, where "B" as she called her so often, had kindly allowed her to stay until this crisis is over.
When she fell asleep, she began to dream immediately. Her dreams were indeed bizarre, the one that really stood out to her had her mother, or someone she thought was her mother saying to her "You don't need rehab, honey, you need revenge."

Indeed, her mommy had insisted that she stand up for herself, but this seemed bizarre. There were other things too that stood out in this dream, and by the time she woke up she was in a cold sweat, breathing like she had run a mile in a blizzard, naked! Her matabolism was a mess right now, and she was starting to freak out- over and over again her mind replayed the line "She stabbed you in the gut with your own knife... you don't need rehab for that, you need revenge."

Something about this didn't sit right with the brunette, however, and she shouted so loud that her friend, Kennedy, who it appears was sound asleep after spending most of the night making out with Willow, woke up cursing loudly. Faith screamed as loud as she could "Get away from me, you B*tch!". She had no idea the anatomy or biology of this thing that had been harrassing her, but she was frightened by what it was trying to make her do.

As soon as she had yelled this, she heard Kennedy shout "What the *Bleep*?!" and a string of explatives poured out from the mouth of the Latina like nobody's business, that made Buffy cover her mouth in horror, and storm up to confront her about her language.

Faith covered her mouth to stifle her laughing, she had an appatite for chaos, and this certainly fit the bill... despite her continual 'crusade'- as you might call it- to get rid of her wicked traits, namely cruelty.

Something about Faith's crusade against his holdings had set the First off, however, and it had redoubled its efforts in her sector.

The end of this one, maybe more with this idea in later stories.
Please, tell me what you think.
