The giant manor house was sprinkled with a thin layer of snow, causing it to twinkle in the twilight. Inside it's corridors and rooms an army of generic thugs with a variety of weapons patrolled the territory. The most feared of them all were the trio, three psychotic, murderous, and sadistic henchmen of the Don who hadn't the slightest hesitation of killing an entire family: men, women, children, infants and all. Led by a madman who was just as twistedly evil as they were. Inside his office, Don Angelo Punchinello sat at his desk, fiddling with a letter opener in one hand and clutching a phone in the other. A cold, smooth, menacing, machine like female voice rang through the phone. "Has the Max Payne problem been handled yet?" she said. "Naw but the sonnava bitch wants to cut a deal in my restaurant, he thinks I'm actually gonna show up!" "Can you believe it, what a schmuck!" the Don replied. Not the slightest bit of amusement showed in the woman's voice. "Just make sure you do it right this time, we don't want a repeat of that disgrace with that thug of yours. Frankie his name was?". The Don frowned. "Don't worry, I've rigged my restaurant with enough explosives to burn it and Payne to the ground" "You better have, it would be a shame if my forces had to discipline you". "I'll handle it" the Don replied sternly. "For your sake you better be right", the woman hissed as she hung up the phone. A feeling of helplessness and fear washed over Don Punchinello. He quickly dialed up a number and began shouting. "Tony, bring your guys to the sewers below the Casa Di Angelo and make sure Mr. Payne receives a warm welcome".
