Wrote this in English for my teacher thought it would work for a fan fiction. Also I have an account on Lunar Alliances which i used this for a The Manor AC transcript
Don't own anything recognizable from Harry Potter and I don't make any money either as much as I wish I do
I had passed the place countless times before. The wall was made of stone, old stone covered with moss and over the years it had begun to crumble and decay. The gargoyles on the gateposts looked evermore threating and the heavy wrought iron gate leaned to one side putting pressure on the rusted lock.
I don't know why I did it but one day I climbed over the wall and dropped down on the other side into another world. The plants and trees had been left to go wild. I could just make out a pathway with shrubbery creeping round the edges. So I started to make my way out of the weeds surrounding me.
I broke out of the tangled undergrowth to find myself hugging the edge of a lawn. At the top of the rise stood Riddle Manor. In between, the garden which used to be grand now was unkempt and riddled with weeds. It must have been beautiful in all it's former splendour but now it was terrifing. You could never know if someone was watching you, they could be a few feet away and you wouldn't even know they were there. The flower heads had blacked, the grass had turned brown and the stone fountains were now covered with ivy and moss. The fountains were now blocked. Without gardeners the garden seemed abandoned. The old clock dial had worn and chunks of marble had broken off. It was eerily quiet.
The house looked abandoned. The owners had left it long ago. Now it looked empty, abandoned and dilapidated, the windows were like huge church window. Plants had started to grow from the gutters and some slate had fallen from the roof. There was a willow next to the house, it look as if it was weeping into a large pool of water at it's feet.
It was difficult to take that first step, as I knew I was being watched. The garden was tamer here but it had a forlorn feeling. I edged my way around the unkempt lawn over the cobbled path. I kept looking up at the Manor as I felt eyes staring at me. I slowly approached the house walking up the crumbling stairs.
The door swung open. It was creepy. There was a crystal chandelier that had crashed to the floor some years ago. The derelict house seemed cold and empty after it's many years of solitude. The fireplace that once carried heat and warmth now gave an unearthly feel. In the corner there was a door with nature carvings etched into the wood. The door seemed to draw me towards it. I walked towards it. My feet seemly moving of their own accord. I turned the wooden handle and behind the door was a huge mirror. In the mirror, just for a second, I thought I saw a pair of bright red eyes.
"Harry.."The wind whispered then everything suddenly went black...
