Hi guys! This is a joint FF made by and Kiraranger.
This is our first attempt at a joint fanfiction so please no flames . Helpful criticism would be nice though!
This fanfic is mostly OC centric but also starring Natsu's team!

Prologue
Branches whipped at my face as I ran past.
Heavy footsteps and breathing came from beside me.
A tall, slim, blacked haired boy with exceptionally pale blue eyes followed behind me.
A snap resounded through the air, propelling our motivation. A flash of lightning illuminated the sky, giving me a good picture of what lay ahead. The rainy downpour wasn't helping me get a good footing as I darted through the dense trees, the boy following behind. Concentrating, I turned my body around and brought my hands together. Trees and bushes grew in size, covering our trail.
Another jolt of lightning flashed ahead of me, highlighting a bridge up ahead. My lips pulled into a smirk of hope. I turned my head back to gaze at the boy. He narrowed his eyes with his mouth opening. Swiveling around, I realized too late what the boy meant. In front of me was a gnarled tree root that stuck up above the ground. I know this sounds cliche, but I tripped. I toppled into the mud puddle right in front of me. A searing pain spread through my ankle.
The boy bent down on one knee, a caring look evident on his face. Pulling on an impassive face, I internally winced when I tried moving my foot. The boy tugged my arm across his shoulder and gently helped me up.
Another flash of lightning struck a tree off to the right of us. The tree burst into flames, despite the now drizzling rain. My eyes widened at the fire spread. Shouts could be heard from behind us. The boy helped me up with a grim expression on his face. We hobbled a bit further.
The bridge to the safe haven was just ahead. Already we could see a flying blue cat waving to us, and even farther we could see a pink haired boy, and a red headed girl gesturing to us. The bushes rustled behind me. By instinct, we both looked back. In front of us stood my worst nightmare advancing towards us with a broad smirk on his face.
So what do you think? I know this is kinda short...but it's a prologue...
Our next chapter is longer though!
