Nightmare
A shrill scream was what woke Edison Sweet/Miller that night. He ran upstairs to his Yacker's bedroom and swung open the door to see Patricia twisting an turning tears falling from her eyes.
"No please don't EDDIE!" Patricia shot awake when she felt a set of strong arms grasp her shoulders.
"It's okay Yacker shh. Shh it's okay in here." Eddie sooths as Patricia cries into his chest.
"Your alice, your alive." Patricia's voice is muffled but Eddie can still hear her.
"Of course I'm alive Yacker. What was your dream about?" Eddie asks as Patricia's sobs turn to sniffles.
"I-It was R-Rufus h-he came b-back h-he made m-me watch a-as he k-killed you." Patricia mumbles.
"That will never happen Yacker." Eddie says.
"S-Stay with me..." Patricia asks.
"Of course Yacker." Eddie crawls in the bed next to her and falls asleep with Patricia in his arms.
