A Poem

By Robin Wright

Author's Note: I was really bored and felt like writing a poem. It's definitely not my best work, but I tried. Please read and review. - Robin Wright

Lo, the haunted hero.

Lone and sad

Pursuing a misty quest of epic tale

Mind filled of wistful wishing

Will your true love ever be found

The girl, unassuming

Lost within her own home

Beaten by the light of the moon

You dream of her

And cry for her pain

Zelda-

Blazing eyed girl of wisdom

Alone within her cold castle walls

Cast out to the friendless world

to hide behind the cloth as another

The one you love before you

Yet he loves another

The waiting kingdom in your palm

The throne you do not want

Impa-

Oh wise one, keeper of the dead

Harangued by the lost spirits

Solemn, red eyed sage

Silent in you knowing

Vast is your knowledge

Navi-

Incessant, foolish

Never quiet

How we wish to be rid of you

Malon-

Simple, pretty girl

Will your lover ever come

Over the boundless hills of the glorious land

To end your torture, your torment

To take you in his arms

To tell you that he loves you

The hero that wants a simple girl for a princess

The one who can save you

Ruto-

The tomboy

The wisher

Demanding you be

Yet soft inside

In love with one you cannot have

A man who is not of your own

The King will never approve

Someday you will find another
