Chaper One:
The unicorn frowned; the orange had not done what she wanted it to do. This unicorn had been practicing her magic with Princess Twilight Sparkle - her mentor.
"Your not focused enough Starlight. You can do it, just concentrate!" The Alicorn encouraged.
Starlight nodded and breathed in before casting another spell. The blast hit the orange, turning it into an apple.
Twilight smiled and trotted over to her student. "Well done Starlight. See, you just needed to focus...you seemed a little... distracted there. Anything you want to tell me?" She asked, fluttering her wings.
"Who me? No, no I'm-I'm okay." She gave Twilight a very unconvincing smile.
The Alicorn was about to say something when her 'Number One Assistent' - Spike - walked in with a letter in his claw. Twilight read the letter out loud: "Dear Twilight, me and Cadence have been called to a Royal meeting in Canterlot. We cannot take FlurryHeart with us, for it will be to boring for her, and we will not be able to care for her. We will be gone for two days. We were hoping that you could foal sit for her in The Crystal Empire whilst we are away. It would mean alot. From Shinning Armour." Twilight agreed to foal sit, and she immediately started to write a letter back to her brother and sister-in-law. She sighed. "Looks like your lessons are over for two days, you have a break!" The Alicorn smiled.
Starlights attention was drawn back to what she was thinking about earlier. Sunburst. Her oldest friend. He lived In The Crystal Empire. The pink unicorn asked her mentor if she could come. Expectedly, Twilight said yes.
