Disclaimer: The "angel" on my shoulder says to remind y'all that I don't own Scooby Doo. However, the scenarios and clubhouse layout is my own invention.

Not Just Any Clubhouse
On the outside, it looked like an inconspicuous warehouse, albeit one the size of a small apartment. But never judge a book by its cover. The inside was much more spectacular.
The front door opened into a living room, the gang's main hangout spot. A ratty old red couch bore the scars from when Daphne tried to "perk it up a little." A vintage table (again Daphne's doing) slanted downward ever so slightly. "It's useless for anything except looks," Velma once commented, casting an 'I-told-you-so' look at Daphne. She didn't take that as an insult to the table, but to her herself. That took a while to put behind the two girls.
But, of course, the centerpiece of the room was an old television. It didn't get cable or satellite; no one complained. As long as they could watch the news and sports games, it didn't matter how many channels they got. A video game system lay connected to the TV. Normally Shaggy would play a racing game with either Scooby or Fred. Sometimes, depending on the day, Velma played with them. Once, they even made Daphne play, and she beat everybody! She never let them live it down.
To the left, Fred's dad had built a working bathroom per the girl's request. Because "girls just can't go by a tree like guys do," or so he explained it to the elementary-age boys.
A bedroom occupied the back room. The addition was actually Fred's idea. When they entered high school, he sat them down around the wooden dining table and explained that "since we're older we won't always see eye-to-eye with our parents. It's better to have a place to go and blow off steam than say something we'll regret." The vote of agreement unanimously set the plans for construction. The end product contained a bed and a chest of drawers. A week after its completion, the room proved its usefulness when Shaggy, Scooby, and Velma were thrown out of their strict, militarist homes after participating in an anti-war rally. Even though they were accepted back into their respective families the next week, they were grateful there was a place for them to go. By the time they graduated, everyone had used the room multiple times for multiple reasons ranging from boyfriends to grades to politics.
To the right was (what else?) a kitchen. A working fridge stocked up with food sat in the far left corner. Anything they wanted to eat was in there. And with Shaggy and Scooby, anything meant everything! Velma's computer was conveniently placed on the counter. Actually, everyone chipped in some money to buy it, but Velma was the chief user, so the gang referred to it as hers.
Yes, every member of the gang, including Scooby, claimed certain possessions as theirs. Fred's couch, Shaggy's video games and skateboard, Scooby's food bowl and snacks, Daphne's makeup and dolls, Velma's computer. But the memories attached to this place belonged to all of them.
Therefore, this will always be "Our Clubhouse."
