Marinette moved, danced and felt the breeze. For as long as she could remember she always found sounds exciting, especially the way someone could move to them. This is how she found herself on the stage in her school violin in hand and dance clothes on. Marinette didn't tell many about her love of dance and the violin. It was her escape. It was hers. She wasn't going to let anyone especially Chloe ruin it for her. It made her feel- She moved the bow across the strings quickly bringing her feet to her knees one at a time. Her leg shot out, bringing her body in to a small leap. Marinette swept her other leg in front of it pushing her weight onto her toes spinning her. Before coming to a full stop she extended the leg that was in the air out with her knee bent and then it clung back to her body, she repeated this a few times. Marinette put that leg out again twirling only to quickly repeat this process with her other leg switching them until she had completed it three times. She stepped out and quickly brought her legs together once again, three times. When she brought out her leg again she pushed herself into a full leap but coming back once she hit the ground to a plea. She smiled and tilted her face to the bright stage lights her hand gripping the violin a bit tighter. Lifting her leg straight behind her she curled it around herself causing a turn. She stood in place while she continued to play knees twitching to start moving again. Bracing herself she pushed until she was in the air legs above her in a split. Time seemed to move in slow motion Marinette felt her muscles straining and dark hair curling around her head. It all ended when she returned to the ground and slid into a split. Pulling herself into a kneeling stance she slowly stood up. Marinette stopped to gather her breath expression morphing into something more concentrated and pushed. She back flipped returning to her feet only to slide almost into a split before turning it into a spin in which she moved her other leg to be perfectly vertical with her body. She brought it back down and used force to push her into a leap then leaning so far back she could feel the floor with the tip of her head. Marinette flung upright and spun to leap again and did so a few more times until she squatted and jumped to form a spinning pencil. As Marinette fell back down she braced herself and landed in a perfect side split. Collapsing to fully lay on the floor she took a deep breath and grinned a feral smile. Her legs went perfectly straight up and using her back muscles she hopped back up. Marinette stood there smiling as she played in a world all on her own not hearing the gasps that had started when she first began to dance. She finished the final note lifting her bow high in the air she finally opened her eyes. (Inspired by Lindsey Sterling's Arena)
