Spellbound, Through the Sky

[a.n.] I'm sorry for another horrid poem! But I had to post this one since these one-shots of mine are getting to be a real pain in the butt, and the site is pissing me off (it should say that I have around forty reviews, and it says I only have 32, and I should be on more then seven favorites' lists, but that's all it says...). And I've got a headache and all that jazz. -.- Enjoy this one for me, all right guys? No need for reviews – just yell at me for not keeping my word. –sigh– Oh, right - this is a Kingdom Hearts (MORE KH!): Kairi-centric third-person, as you'll see. But pretend I never said that and tell me: who do you think this poem centers on? [araclyzm]

A lonely little girl one day

Heard a music as lost as she

She followed it outside her prison

And what she found made her see

She'd been locked up for far too long

She'd forgotten how to live

So much had changed, the world she knew

But for that she could not forgive.

She was caged within her forlorn mind

Destined to forever stand apart

Never to perceive the day

Her time would finally start.

She needed to be freed

From the castle in which she'd stay

So one day she took her only chance

And thought she'd break away.

But the monster from her darkest dreams

Would not allow that to be

So he followed her into the gloom

Yet dared not set her free.

She had obligations, a promise to keep,

And a duty to uphold.

She could not leave and was trapped

Within her demon's monstrous hold.

But day after day she'd pray and hope

That one day she would fly

And all that was left of her hopes and dreams

Would sail into the sky.
