Disclaimer: I do not own Skip Beat! (yeah I bet you didn't know that huh?)
Yeah this is a chapter of Kyoko power!
several years in the future
She saw him across the crowded room. There was no mistaking that handsome, angular face; it had haunted her dreams much too long for that. Their eyes met. Kyoko dug her nails deeply into her thigh as she prepared herself for the onslaught of rage and pain that always accompanied his appearances in her life.
Nothing happened.
He walked over to her- casually pushing his way through the mess of partygoers without a second thought. Soon they were standing face to face. He gave her a slow, mocking grin.
And still she felt nothing. No bitter rage, no demonic desire for vengeance. Shocked by this new development, Kyoko could only stare at Sho's sickeningly perfect face.
Sho, of course, being Sho, took this to mean something else. "What, Kyoko, have my good looks left you utterly speechless?" he said, smiling languidly.
This was so far from the truth that Kyoko snorted loudly. (Very loudly, in fact. Several people turned to stare at her.) "As if, Sho. Honestly I could care less about that now. I'm not stupid, love-struck teenager anymore. I've moved on."
And as Sho tried to process that statement, the impact of her own words hit her. She, Mogami Kyoko, was finally over him. She didn't want revenge anymore, but she certainly wasn't in love with him either. In fact, Kyoko no longer really cared what happened to Fuwa Shotaro. She had moved on for good.
With this realization, Kyoko gave Sho a cheerful smile. "Nice seeing you Sho, but I really have to leave now." He gaped at her. Kyoko had never talked like that to him…
Kyoko turned to leave and then she was gone.
A/N: Wow, my shortest fic ever!
Yeah, the inspiration for this partially came from the Kelly Clarkson song "Gone" (shut up!).
It's just a pretty random drabble.
Review or flame if you'd like but I'm not expecting much.
