And so I join another fandom. I shall warn you now, don't expect much out of me, writing fan fictions isn't really my thing.

The Doctor sat on a curb, looking at his shoes and not really doing much. A girl sauntered over to him and sat down beside him. "Hey Doctor." She said. The Doctor looked surprised, and a little confused.
"How'd you know who I am?" he asked.
"Well, you're pretty famous. Plus, the box was a big give away." She said, indicating the Tardis behind them.
"Famous, eh? Famous or infamous?"
"Eh, a bit of both really."
"Hmm. So, who are you?"
"Me? You can call me Ellie, although that's not who I am, it's just my name." They lapsed into silence for a while. Then the Doctor sighed.
"Do you ever feel like you're in an over dramatic TV show? And in between episodes you don't really do much, you just... wait for the next episode."
"Nope." Ellie replied nonchalantly.
"Nope?"
"Nope. My TV show is more like a badly written sitcom, where the focus isn't really around the action, just some randoms really."
"Huh..." Another silence, but it wasn't awkward, it was just silence's turn to speak. Eventually Ellie spoke.
"So, what are you doing at the moment?"
"Not much really..."
"Well, it's getting kind of late and I have a long walk home."
"I could give you a ride?"
"Hmmm, thanks, but no. I'd rather walk. What about you?"
"Oh, I think I'm just gonna stay here a while longer. Watch the sunset maybe."
"Waiting for the next episode?"
"Yeah, waiting for the next episode."

Yes, it's short. So sure me. And yes, the girl in the story is me, although if I really saw the Doctor I'd probably keep my distance and sort of watch going 'omg omg omg omg omg!!!!' o.o
This is sort of a reflection of my waiting for the next episode of Doctor Who, and specifically, the next series (one-off special episodes just aren't the same). I suspect the times between 'episodes' for the Doctor (even if it is only a week) would be pretty relaxed, and maybe even boring but then, Trouble does seem to follow him around a lot, doesn't it XD
