GOODBYE DOBE
The grey patched clouds lay like a blanket across the sky. Rain fell like hundreds of tears, staining everything they touched. It was like the sky was crying over Konoha.
The rain drops slithered over the memorial and headstones that lay arranged around it. Nothing could be heard except the soft patter of the rain splashing against the ground. Neither the rain nor the silence affected the figure the stood in front of one of the headstones.
The rain plastered his thick black bands of hair to his face and soaked his clothes that they clung to his skin. Clutching a Kanata in one hand at his side, his obsidian eyes flickered over the words engraved on the headstone.
Naruto Uzamaki,
Hero of the Hidden Leaf Village,
Who gave his life for his village and his friends.
The eyes continued to look over the words. Raindrops drizzled down his face, mixing with single tear. The man bent down and hung his head/ then, reaching out he placed a kunai in front of the stone and stood up.
"Goodbye Dobe"
With that he was gone, melting into the darkness of the forest as thunder boomed over head.
