"Hey guys! I might have found something!" exclaimed a very exited Louis from the bathroom of the apartment they were passing through. Zoey came in from the bedroom to inspect the find.
Louis pulled out two bottles of pills, first aid, and two pairs of classy black sun glasses.
"." Was all that came from her mouth as her eyes lit up and widened with amazement. "These are pretty sick glasses." She said, holding one in her hands and examining it.
"Heh, I know. I am ze Terminator!" The two cracked up and the accountants poor reenactment of the famous movie. "That was horrible!" Zoey said, wiping a tear from her eye. "Really? Well it wasn't that bad… was it?" but all her got in response was a vigorous head nod from his friend.
"Well…. YOU do better than!" He said, getting a little defensive.
Zoey's head snapped up, eyes with a dangerous spark behind them. "No problem." She slammed the glasses on her face and got a silly grin and slouched over. "I'm Bill Cosby! Heh heh heh! Wooo!"
She then ripped the glasses off and returned to dangerous mode, starring Louis in the eye. There was silence. Louis blinked. Zoey cracked a smile. Both burst out in laughter and soon became red eyed and out of breath. "Haha, alright girl, you win."
They were soon joined by two older men, who just stood awkwardly in the doorway as the sun glassed duo tried to regain their composure.
"Uhh, what cha doin?" asked the tattooed man, with a confused expression on his face.
Louis and Zoey looked at each other and in unison replyed, "That's classified information." As they brushed past the stunned bearded men. "Bill, you're old, you ever seen that happen before?"
Bill shook his head. "Francis, I'm so old I'm not even questioning the god damn zombie apocalypse." He murmured as they continued on their adventure.
Down the hall in the apartment complex was none other that a horde of bloody, smelly, oozing and angry zombies. The group blasted the beasts away until a single one remained. Through the smoke, guts and blood that now filled the air, Zoey gave the beast a single head shot from her trusty pistol.
"Excellent work Agent One." Commented Louis, cleaning his glasses. "Thank you Agent Two," Replied the girl, "Shall we move on gentlemen?"
Zoey and Louis kept up their Secret Agent tactics till nightfall. "Louis! It's too dark, I can't see! Whadda we do?"
"We leave them here, for other survivors who may come through here." He declared. "Does anyone see a pen around here?" He asked, looking around the safe room.
THREE WEEKS LATER
"Hey guys! Lookit here! Nick, these belong to you?" The young mechanic asked with a pleased grin. "You'd sure fancy in these. Try 'em on, Please?"
Nick and Ellis put on the glasses and the note that was by them, it read:
These are magic glasses, keep them safe and they'll keep you safe.
The best of luck,
Agents One and Two.
"Huh, y'all think we'll ever get to meet these people? Kinda seem cool, handin out magic glasses and all."
"Come on y'all lets get goin, wisperin Oaks ain't far from here, just gotta cross that bridge just a few miles up" Hustled Coach, trying to keep his team on track. "But you never know Ellis, Agents one and Two might be just up the street. Guess we'll never really know."
As they got approached the Bridge, a young girl called to them, explaining if they get around the bridge and filled the generator up, they can pass.
Ellis, still wearing his 'magic' glasses waved at her and said thanks.
Zoey smiled and returned to the others. "Agent two, we have company."
He looked up confused, then remembered, smiled, "You're kiddin right?"
But Zoey just grinned.
"huh, heh, Cool!" Louis grinned at agent one, "I had a good feeling about those glasses."
