Everyone wonders what the child of a half-blood would be. Maybe a fourth-blood. Or maybe…nothing. Maybe they're just normal. Or maybe…maybe they aren't meant to be - supposed to be - anything. Anyone. Alive.
Percy Jackson and his wife had to learn this the hard way.
After a year of marriage, Annabeth had taken the pregnancy test, declaring that she would have a child.
But the wonders of what it would be just would get out of Percy's head.
Would it have any powers? Or would it have none at all? Would it have monsters attacking it? Would it have ADHD; the method of surviving? Or would it just be…normal?
Percy didn't think he could live with a normal child. He wouldn't be able to tell his son or daughter about his adventures and about his…life.
But as much as it would pain him to do so, he would live with it. Because he would do anything for the people he loved.
After the birth, Athena came. Her face showed anger.
After the birth, Poseidon came. His face showed sympathy.
After the birth, there was a crying baby. The baby boy was ignored by no one.
After the birth, Athena took the child and declared, "No child shall be born of two half-bloods. The result is disastrous."
After the birth, Annabeth stood, facing her mother, and said, "You will never touch my child."
After the birth, Percy and Annabeth Jackson's son went down in battle, defeating Kronos nineteen years later.
After the death, Athena revisited. Her face showed sympathy.
After the death, Poseidon revisited. His face showed anger. But not towards them.
After the death, there was a crying family. The demigod family was ignored by everyone.
After the death, Athena declared, "I knew that no son of a demigod shall live as long as their parents."
After the death, Annabeth stood up and said sadly, "My child was never to be touched."
After the death, the child went down in history.
Uh, so I have no idea where this came from, but it just sounded like a good idea…
