Jess Aarons walked around the streets of Millsburg and looked amazed at how much the city had changed in the past ten years, his head spun around his childhood memories as he caught sight of a nice mansion in the 60's style as the one Leslie used to live.

I still remember the world

From the eyes of a child

Slowly those feelings

Were clouded by what I know now

The twenty years old man looked around himself admiring his old enemies from elementary school, he looked at a blonde skinny-looking woman standing by the side and was shocked to see when she turned to him that it was Janice Avery.

Where has my heart gone?

An uneven trade for the real world

I want to go back to

Believing in everything and knowing nothing at all

He saw she was walking towards him and let his mind wander away again to memories of Leslie and the way she had helped Janice when the school found out about her father.

I still remember the sun

Always warm on my back

Somehow it seems colder now

Jess looked at his old house and glanced over to the fence Leslie sat in the first time they talked, the sun was rising and as it shadowed the fence, he could swear he saw Leslie's beautiful image sitting there mocking him.

Where has my heart gone?

Trapped in the eyes of a stranger

I want to go back to

Believing in everything

He looked down at his reflection on the river and saw a stranger looking back at him, he saw a man he didn't even know returning his gaze. The man had pain behind his eyes, a well-hidden pain but it was there nonetheless, long dark-blonde hair and beard and big brown eyes and more lines on his forehead than a twenty year old should reasonably have.

Iesu, Rex admirabiis

Et triumphator nobilis,

Dulcdu ineffabilis,

Totus desiderabilis

As the years pass by

Before my face,

As war rage before me,

I forced it out

In darkness of the storm

Lies an evil,

But it's me

He stepped into what used to be their palace and looked at the broken pieces of wood on the ground, there was a piece of paper on top of one of them, he grabbed it and recognized as the drawing paper Leslie had given him and he had threw into the water in anger.

Where has my heart gone?

An uneven trade for the real world

Oh, I, I want to go back to

Believing in everything

"Jess?" A voice called his name and he looked up dropping the paper to see May Belle walking towards him over the bridge he had built.

He stood and pulled her into a hug, "I missed you" he breathed into her hair.

His sister hugged him back and breathed something incoherent into his chest, he pulled away and looked down at her asking her what she had said through his eyes, she just shook her head and looked down at the paper he was holding.

Oh, whee, where has my heart gone?

Trapped in the eyes of a stranger

Oh, I, I want to go back to

Believing in everything

"Still miss her?" May Belle asked picking up a purple flower from the ground.

Jess didn't answer, just looked back at the house trying to figure out how Leslie would look like if she were there with them at that moment.

"Jess?"

He looked back at her and nodded, keeping his gaze on the ground.

May Belle realized he didn't wanted to talk and left, Jess didn't even heard her footsteps fading away.

I still remember…

"I loved you" he whispered to the empty forest, "I miss you, my queen"
