this is my first grey's story...its just a little drabble about Callie and Arizona as they eat breakfast. i hope you enjoy it, and happy holidays everyone!

"I want our kids to have your dimples."

"Huh?"

Shit. Think fast Torres, fast.

"I…uh…I, this is good pancakes. Great actually. THESE, pancakes are great."

"Hmm, Ok weird; I thought you said something about my dimples?"

"Ha! What? No. No way silly, pancakes. Pan-Cakes, good. That's all I said."

"Mmk. I uh, I'm really glad you like them then, but I hope you know I had help." Arizona offered changing the subject.

"Help, really? What kind of help? Because I know Christina isn't awake yet so…" Callie asked as she kissed the sensitive spot behind Arizona's ear.

"Aunt Jemima help" Arizona smiled.

"That's not help, that's syrup Arizona."

"No it really is…oooh…help, I promise…I uhhh Calliope, I…"

"Arizona?"

"Uhh..yea Calliope?"

"Shut up." Callie smiled against her ear.

"Right….shutting up"

Callie continued to show Arizona her appreciation of the pancakes (even if she did receive a little help from Aunt Jemima).

Twenty minutes later as they were wrapped in Callie's baby blue bed sheets; Arizona spoke actual words for the first time since the kitchen, "So you really liked the pancakes huh? Because if I had known you liked pancakes that much I would have made them months ago."

Callie smiled before kissing Arizona's shoulder, "yea baby, I love pancakes."

Arizona laid back cradling Callie's head against her chest, "Well that's good news, you know, that you were talking about pancakes, because I was sure you said something about children and dimples, and…"

"Okay. Fine, whatever" Callie pouted.

"Whatever what?"

"Whatever, I like your dimples, whatever."

"You like my dimples?" Arizona asked sweetly.

"Of course I like your dimples baby, they're one of my favorite parts about you."

"Good, then stop lying about the pancakes."

"Lying? What? I loved the pancakes!"

"Like you love my dimples? Or more than you like my dimples? Or more than you like our kids with my dimples?"

"Ha, who mentioned kids? Not me, I've been talking about pancakes."

"Calliope?"

"Yea babe?"

"Shut up." Arizona said as she started kissing Callie again.
