My Eyes

When you look into my eyes.

Can you see my soul?

Can you see the light you bring me?

Can you see my heart?

Can you see the space it's made for you?

Can you see my life?

Can you see my essence that needs you?

When you look into my eyes.

Do you see the tears?

The silent tears I cry for you.

Do you see my fears?

The horrible fears I feel for you.

Do you see the years?

The endless years I'd live for you.

When you look into my eyes.

Can you feel the need?

The unrelentless need for your company.

Can you feel the hurt?

The heart wrenching hurt to remain just your friend.

Can you feel the love?

The bottomless love that will never end.

Can you see these things,
