Fraternizing with the Enemy
Tayend paced around his bedroom on the ship, fuming. After catching Dannyl at the baths with Aschati he was trying to come to terms with what he had seen and stopped. What the hell is wrong with him! He is the enemy! I don't care that we are no longer together, our relationship has run its course but to actually move on to the enemy! How dare he! Tayend thumped the ships wall angrily and sat down. I hate not knowing what they have been getting up to whilst I've been asleep. I should have pushed my pride to the side and allowed Dannyl to heal away my morning sickness. Now, I have allowed them to have time alone together. I know what Dannyl is thinking! I know that he wants to have sex with Aschati. All that crap when we first met about being shy and not sure about being a lad was exactly that crap! As soon as he admitted that he was a lad and we started going out he had sex with me. Our first kiss practically led to our first night of sex. He might not even like Aschati, he might just want to be friends with benefits. Cock! Tayend glanced up as the door opened and displayed open hostility towards his ex-boyfriend.
"I was just checking to see if you were alright." Dannyl stated from the doorway.
"I'm perfectly fine." The Ambassador to Elyne answered curtly. He could feel the magician's frown burning a hole into his back but he didn't dare turn around. He will see how angry I am and I will not have an argument with him about Aschati when he is probably only about ten feet away and will hear every incriminating word that I say about him.
"I understand that we are no longer together and I'm fine with it. But remember you're the one that ended it." Dannyl practically whispered as he closed the door behind him, leaving a fuming Tayend on his own. Me! I ended it! He's the one who wanted to leave me in Imardin for two years! And who is now begging to jump into the enemy's bed. I thought Dannyl hated the way Sachakans acted. The slavery, the Black I was wrong. Maybe he's changed that much that he now doesn't care about the disgusting treatment of some of the people in Sachaka or the fact that they practise and openly use Black Magic. No wonder our relationship ended. He's changed so much from the man that I met twenty years ago. I don't even know him anymore. Tayend felt a shock of surprise as he realized that he didn't feel anything, not even sorrow. Just disgust at the man that Dannyl had turned into. I have to talk to him. I will not stand for this. I will not stand by as he fraternizes with the enemy. If there was to be a war between Kyralia and Sachaka then Dannyl would not be able to kill Aschati. Would Aschati be able to kill Dannyl though? Even if they were lovers?Tayend felt slightly sad. Dannyl would be killed because he would never ever hurt Aschati. But should I really care? Dannyl is no longer the man that I can laugh with, sit with, lie with, talk with, kiss, hug. The thought of bedding him disgusts me now. Tayend stood up determinedly. I no longer love him and he no longer loves me. It is time that I put him in his rightful place! And with that he strode out of the cabin in search of his former lover.
