Full Summary: Have 5 Guardians, their sworn enemy, and an unbelieving girl, all trapped inside the depths of Pitch's lair, with seemingly no way for them to escape. What do you get? Chaos.

It seems that Man on the Moon, trapped the immortal spirits within the realm of the Nightmare King's lair, in order for them to "cope" and "bond" with each other. There is only one way for the Guardians and Pitch to escape…and that is for them to work together to make the unbelieving girl believe in all of them once more.

But how can they accomplish that? They all hate each other's guts, are sworn enemies, and this girl seems to have no wonder, hope, or joy in her at all that would be able to make her believe in them. Looks like things will get crazy for them, if they somehow don't find a way out and somehow not murder each other, being stuck together underground and all…

~Chapter One~

"YAHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" A loud voice full of excitement rudely interrupts the calm atmosphere of the windy Antarctica air.

For it is none other than Jack Frost the new Guardian of Fun, soaring throughout the cold and brisk air of the North Pole. Just a week ago, his whole life changed in a matter of an expected adventure with the Guardians, with them defeating Pitch Black and Jack finally able being believed in by children.

Today, North had called in all the Guardians for a "huge" celebration that he readied for the past week, for the triumph of defeating Pitch and possibly saving the world and life as we know it from plummeting into another Dark Age. Not to mention a new extension to the Guardians, a family member, and as well as a friend, Jack Frost.

Jack grins widely as North's Workshop comes into view, as the wind carries him towards it. He then flies through a window that North made for him, enabling him to get past the securities of workshop ("Which will be something I will or will not regret", quoted by North), and lands inside the main room of the workshop, finding the Guardians all gathered in there already.

"Hey guys! Looks like the fun can finally get started!" Jack laughs. "Y'know, since I'm the Guardian of Fun and all of that…?" he stops, seeing that his friends have somber expressions on their faces.

"What's the matter with you guys?" Jack asks, frowning.

"Jack! We've been waiting for your arrival! It's emergency!" North shouts, waving his arms. The elves run around him, waving their little arms and jingling their bell hats along with him, sensing his anxiety.

"Woah, woah there Papa Christmas, what do you mean by that?" says Jack, confused, dodging a running elf.

"Something's amiss in the balance, Jack. My fairies and Sandy had said so themselves." Tooth says, bristling her wings, a few of her mini fairies flitting around her, distressed.

Jack glances over to Sandy for an explanation, with signs flashing over the Sandman's head as a reply. Images of Pitch's Fearlings, children, and beds flash above his head, his golden eyes slightly troubled with anticipation.

"Wait, from what I'm getting, the Nightmares are still out there, after kids? I thought that they were gone along with Pitch, sealed under his lair!" Jack exclaims, surprised from this information.

"That's indeed so, mate. But, there's a catch when we defeated Pitch. Since they went rogue on their own master, they're out of control. No one's there to keep control over them or give them orders, to restrain them. Because of this, Fearlings are on a rampage, giving children Nightmares all over the world." Bunny explains to the frost spirit.

"What?! But I thought defeating Pitch meant that the Nightmares will be gone with him, end of story!" the Guardians of Fun says, in shock.

"That is so Jack, that's what we all thought. Before, it was necessary and dire to stop Pitch and rid him of his powers—but that only back fired back on us." Sighs North. He turns to the globe, the lights flickering out at a very slow pace.

"Those Nightmares weren't as threatening when Pitch was in charge over them, but now, they are just animals. There is chance that the children of the world will lose their faith in us because of fear—and that is not good thing, not good thing at all!"

Jack feels himself gripping his staff, thinking of the safety of Jamie and his friends back at Burgress. He jumps up, perching on top of one of the presents that a Yeti wrapped up. The Yeti in charge of them glares huffily at Jack's action, yet the winter spirt does not seem to notice. Rubbing his hands he looks around at the Guardians. "Okay! Then, what do we need to do to stop them?" Jack asks attentively, ready for anything.

"Well, we could just fight them off and protect the children—but what good would that do? There are thousands of the Nightmares, and only five of us. Though we have our powers, we can't find and destroy all of them, we'll only just waste our energy fighting them all." Tooth reasons to the group of Guardians.

"That is a good point Tooth." Bunny admits, his foot thumping impatiently of what they could do to protect the children.

Just as the Guardians were brainstorming on what to do to defend kids and to defend them from hordes of Nightmares, moonlight shines softly through a window, a full moon out.

Sandy notices this, and a golden arrow forms above his head, following with a full moon. Jack is the first one to see Sandy attempting to communicate with them, and glances up. "Guys, it's the Moon! Think he'll give us advice?"

The Guardians stopped talking, pausing to look at the full moon. North gives a wide smile and greets, "Manny! We meet again! Are you here to give us advice, dear friend?"

The moonlight shines brighter, as if replying back to North. It shines down on all five Guardians, with them looking at the moon as if it were talking to them. It then disappears behind clouds, the moonlight disappearing.

All of them was quiet at first, absorbing what the Moon just told them. Jack finally said with a scowl on his face, "Looks like we're going to pay ol' Pitch a visit at his lair of damnation."
