Prologue
"We have lost too many of our shinobi because everyone wants that damn nine-tailed fox!" Danzu cried out. There was a rumble of agreement throughout the council hall. "For years we have protected that which has destroyed our village and killed our loved ones, I say we take a vote here and now to banish the kyuubi container from this village! All in favor" Everyone quickly agreed but the eldest member of the council was quick to point out the obvious. "What about the Uchiha heir? That demon fox is the only one who can find him and bring him back to konoha." Danzu paused and reflected for a minute, then said, " then we shall send him on his last mission as a shin obi for the hidden leaf village. We will have him bring back Sasuke before banishing him." Danzu thought that this should have been enough to appease these simple-minded old fools but he was wrong for eldest member of the council had the nerve to think, for crying loud, for he spoke just as everyone was ready to leave. "But it is not as easily done as you make it seem. That demon will not simply agree to bring back the Uchiha and simply leave this village without a fight! What will be his motivation in returning Sasuke and then simply walking away?" "That is the easy part about all this." Danzu replied. "I have a certain pink-haired kunoichi on his team that tells me he will do anything to bring Sasuke back. ANYTHING. We will call an official meeting with the hokage and the demon container, tell him that if he agrees to our simple request the Uchiha heir will be reinstated back into the village with a one month probationary period and then fully reinstated as a full time shinobi, and all charges against him will be pardoned, but only if he agrees to peacefully leave the village after said boy is returned-alive. If he tells Sasuke any of this then Sasuke will face death." Danzu sat back with a smirk on his face and watched as the council members readily agreed with his logic. "Such pathetic, weak-minded simpletons. They cannot know the kind of destruction awaiting their precious village once the nine-tailed beast has been removed." Danzu immediately started to put the second phase of "KONOHA'S DESTRUCTION" into play while the meeting of the elders came to a close.
