Alex was skipping around happily. He danced as he twirled down the streets. The meadow he was jigging on was beautiful with sunshine and daisies and butterflies. He was happy; everything on HappyLand was happy. Well, only one creature there that exists was not. This creature was the mean, old, nasty, green person named, Mr. Grinch….
"HappyLand! HappyLand!" A chorus of melodic tunes rang from the joyful island. It was Singing Time. Everybody in HappyLand were holding hands and singing in the top of their voice. Alex loved singing time. He was often praised for his wonderful voice. But only one person was not singing. This creature was the mean, old, nasty, green, person named, Mr. Grinch….
"Let's eat, everyone!" A HappyLand citizen cried. Everyone cheered. They ran to the Giant Refrigerator, ready to take out the everlasting food that was inside. But to their, surprise, the refrigerator was gone.
"Where did the Giant Refrigerator go?" The citizens asked.
"I stole it!" Mr. Grinch cried, "I steal the food, soon there will be hunger and starvation and no more happiness in HappyLand! Muahahahahaha!"
But the HappyLand people weren't sad, they were still happy. They continued to sing.
"HappyLand! HappyLand!"
And then, something inside of Mr. Grinch changed. His heart grew bigger and bigger and bigger!
"You know, I'm going to give you the food back!" Mr. Grinch announced.
Everyone cheered!
But Alex didn't hear Mr. Grinch's announcement. He thought Mr. Grinch was going to let them starve to death. He got out an AK-47 rifle and fired two shots at the monster. And that was the end of the mean, old, nasty, green person named, Mr. Grinch.
