This is a rather short introduction to see if I can get any feedback. I'll probably continue it for a bit even if I don't receive reviews.
Disclaimer: you know the Drill... I don't own any of it if you recognize it!
Summary: I'm not disclosing that yet... you'll have to read and find out
Rating: probably only PG, but I like to think of myself as a PG-13 writer. And I can't go a day without saying the effing F word
Onward we go... (sorry my title's so cheesy, I'm having a brain freeze)

The way you look tonight
Prologue[ish]

"Mr. Malfoy, would you like to see your son?" My head snapped up and I glanced at the medi-wizard before me, nodded slowly and got to my feet, following behind him.

I've been told that in the normal wizard's life, the moment he finds out that his name will be carried on for at least one more generation is the happiest of his life. Its better than when he meet the woman he think he'll marry, much better than when he propose to her, and far surpasses his wedding night. Whatever mindless wanker said that needs to be smacked around by a bludger.

He directed me towards a screaming bundle being placed in a cradle marked MALFOY and sneered.

"Just like his mother." I muttered.

"That's not very nice, darling. I just birthed your child." I turned to my wife and forced a smile, hugging her in congratulations.

"Oh Draco, isn't this wonderful." I forced another smile.

"Shouldn't you be in bed, dearest?" I choked out. Then I added a total lie to get her away for a bit, "You look terribly weak."

"Oh its nothing to worry about, Draco. I'm a mother now, I'll have to deal with looking sickly, and so will you, Daddy."

I hoped she hadn't noticed when I shuddered. "Well, I think you should go lay down. I'll go get you some pumpkin juice and then sit with you."

"Oh alright, love. If you insist." I watched her saunter away like she used to when we were in school. When she'd try to catch my eye. When she tried to get me to fall for her. When I was in love with someone else. I didn't have the heart to tell her how ridiculous she looked when she did that. Nor could I tell her that that wasn't the way we'd ended up together, but we both knew that if it hadn't been for her, I'd be married to someone else.
