Risky Business: "I know because there is passion when we're kissing! Because our eyes won't stop having sex with each other. I know because I would risk anything and everything in my life just to be near you. I love you Lace." Psychopaths couldn't love, but Danny Desai could.

Authors Note: Hello! If you haven't already, please check out Twist and reTurn Me which is also a Dacey story about what would have happened had Lacey skipped town after their sex tape had been leaked rather than stay and endure a torturous other half of season 1 on Twisted. This is a TWO-SHOT aka just Two Chapters long on an alternate Dacey ending. Granted the last episode I watched of Twisted involved Lacey saying it had always been Jo *barf* so I didn't include any of the gunshot nonsense or reference anything major after that. Will be supplying the last half of this story tomorrow so please enjoy!

"There is no passion when you kiss me."

"What?"

"Passion. There is no passion when you kiss me."

Danny quickly removed himself from on top of his seemingly disappointed girlfriend. He sighed before moving to the foot of her bed and lifelessly dragging his hand through his hair. "What the hell are you talking about Jo?" She sat up and played with the sleeves of her jacket.

"I'm talking about you Danny and your obvious lack of attraction to me." She'd said blushing from embarrassment. "We are in my bed, my parents are gone for the night, and there is no sign of a boner anywhere." She was pointing at the bulge or rather lack there of one in his pants. He had sighed again.

"It probably would come to say hello if you weren't wearing jeans and a jacket." He joked though he knew she was right. Not that he'd thought Jo was unattractive. She wasn't, but in the same breath, she lacked certain elements that he couldn't help but be attracted to.

"Even completely naked I probably wouldn't get a proper greeting. It would come out to say hello and instantly grow mad because it was knocking on the wrong door." She challenged back now looking deep into his eyes. He swallowed hard looking back at her trying to convince himself that she were wrong.

"Even the way you're staring at me. No passion. Nothing, but blank spaces." She reached out and tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear before giving a sorrowed smile. "I'm Taylor Swift, but she will always be Beyonce."

He gave Jo an apologetic smirk before grabbing her hand. "There are millions of guys who'd rather have Taylor Swift than Beyonce and I am more than sorry that I am not one of them."

She removed her hand from his and shoved it in her hair. "Me too." He knew she was hurt, but there was nothing he could do to change how he felt. Lacey had told him it was "always Jo", but truthfully it never was. He'd always told her that he'd seen her like a sister and that he'd never hide anything from her because she was his best friend. She would always have a special place in his heart that no one could take, but not in the seat she'd wanted. He had known Jo approximately an hour before meeting Lacey in preschool and only because Lacey's parents had made her late. Though Jo had grabbed his hands to play with building blocks, he couldn't take his eye on the coffee colored queen sitting near the paint. He'd convinced Jo to walk over to her with him because he wanted them to build a three story dungeon with a person on each floor. He'd remembered being the happiest kid ever after she accepted the invitation to play with them.

"I'm surprised you're still here and not going to go risk it all." She'd said after moments of awkward silence. Danny wasn't sure how to approach her outburst so decided not to until she elaborated. "Remember that conversation we had when you told me you couldn't risk it for me, but you could for Lacey because it was different?" She'd asked. He nodded watching her fumble with her hair and jacket. He hated that he was hurting her. It really wasn't his intentions.

"Well then... do it. Risk it." He got up from the bed and gave her a stern look. "Are you telling me we can't be friends if I'm with Lace? Am I risking my friendship with you?" He didn't like having to choose between his childhood best friends. Why couldn't they just come together like when they were younger? Females were so much more confusing as they got older Danny was learning...

"No... I'm not that selfish. But you will be risking your heart. I may have said I doubted you at times, but I never did. I'm a constant in your life. Permanent. You know I love you and that...it has never changed." She was getting a bit teary eyed and Danny motioned her to stop, but she knew she'd have to keep going or else she'd never be at peace with it. "When you have me Danny, you have all of me. How do you know you will have all of Lacey?" She questioned still fumbling with her sleeves. "When something wasn't perfect, Lacey left. When I wasn't perfect, Lacey left me. With me you will have guaranteed love Danny. If you risk this love for Lacey, how do you know she will love you back?"

Danny grew uneasy. He knew on the surface what Jo had stated seemed true, but something was telling Danny that Jo was just talking from a shattered heart. He walked over to her, gave her one last kiss on the forehead before gravitating towards her window. "I just do." And with that he was off to risk it all because in the end all he wanted to be was happy and his happiness began and ended with Lacey Porter.
