So, this is my little oneshot. It's a Hinny friendship one.

This was for Bonfire Night on Saturday in the UK. If you do not celebrate Bonfire Night (5th November), please Google it.

Set during the Half Blood Prince.

There was a party at the Burrow. As it was a weekend, students were given the permission by Hogwarts to go home to celebrate the Muggle night: Bonfire Night. Hermione had introduced it to the Wealsey's so, there was a massive bonfire in their huge garden, with Weasley Wizard Wheezes fireworks getting set off.

Over in one corner, Ron was messing around with a sparkler, much to the worry of Percy, who thought the sparks were too near his face, whilst Bill and Charlie (visiting for the weekend) found this amusing.

Harry, however, wasn't having the best nights. You don't tend to, especially if your Godfather died 4 or 5 months ago.

"Hey." Ginny sat down beside him on the log bench, near the roaring flames, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Just thinking, out here is better to think than Ron's room." The boy with glasses shrugged.

"You know, you can talk to me about anything you know." The red-haired girl informed, "I might not be Ron or Hermione but, I'm still a great listener."

All Harry said was "hmmm"...

"Sorry," Ginny exclaimed - sounding horrified, "I probably seem like I'm pressurising you. I'm not! I'm so sorry!"

"It's fine, Gin," The Boy Who Lived said with a shaky laugh, unconsiously moving closer to her.

"So, what's bugging you?" She wondered.

"Well, would it be harsh if, for once I'm not thinking of my parents, Sirius, Voldemort, anything that made me who I am today?" He asked her, sounding quite scared or her reaction. The 15 year old pondered on the statement for a bit.

"No." Was her final answer, "I think it means you're finally moving on." Harry disagreed, by the way he shook his head.

"No. I'll never move on from those events. It's just, staring into that orange fire, all I can think is Bonfire Night. Why we celebrate it, why it means so much to Muggles!"

"Why does it mean so much to Muggles?" Ginny asked.

"On this date, a group of people, the leader called Guy Fawkes, tried to blow up Houses of Parliament but, luckily, they got stopped." Harry exclaimed, "Anyway, all I'm thinking is of that, instead of the fact that Voldemort can swoop down anytime and kill me, how I have no family..."

"You have us." Ginny piped up, helpfully. "Anyway, I think it's good to have distractions once in awhile. Even if it's just for a night."

Harry pondered on her theory before nodding and smiling. "I think you're right."

They then cuddled closer together, watching the fireworks in the sky, feeling a bit too comfortable in each other's presence and warmth on that cold November evening.
