Take Two with Phineas and Ferb
Regis Philbin
Gah so I was strolling through our kitchen when I heard Phineas' voice from the T.V in the other room. Thinking it was an episode I sprinted to the living room to find it was only a Take Two. Regis Philbin was the guest and I had come in when they switched chairs. "Now Phineas do you have a special girl in your life?" he asks. "Actually I do!" he cheers back. Myself: Holy cow he is going to confess, on a non-episode! Then I learn he talks about his mom. Messed Up!
This is what Phineas has running through his head while he talks to Regis.
"Wow I see we have a lot to learn. Any other tips you can give us?" I ask. I didn't expect him to go off about the Neil Harass.
"Well yeah I do, but it would be better if I could sit in the chair." I shrug and get out of my seat switching with Regis.
"Look what you guys have!" He exclaims as he starts randomly pushing buttons. All our special effects go haywire and an ostrich runs in the background. I look back at Ferb. When did that ostrich get here? He just shrugs and turns back to Regis. "Okay here we go!"
"Do you guys have a special girl in your life?" he asks with a soft voice.
I look over at my shoulders at Isabella and Ferb. "Actually I do." I respond with the audience give a loving, knowing sigh.
"Really? What is she like?" Regis asks me. Oh shoot. I think of Isabella. She is a good leader, smart, funny, nice, but tough.
"She's friendly, she is sweet, she is the best," I hesitate for a split second. I can't say I like Isabella now! That would be like when the guy proposes at a baseball game on the big screen. I want to tell her when I'm all alone. Quickly I create an excuse. "She is our mom!" Ouch that even hurt to say.
I hear our special effect for tires screeching. Something must have gone on backstage the audience wasn't expecting that. Maybe that wasn't the best cover. "I just wanted to say thanks again for the bowtie Mr. Philbin. How do you think we are going to do in the talk show business?" Ferb asks, saving me from so embarrassment.
"I think you guys could go a long way in this business." Regis assured.
"Thanks a lot! That means so much coming from you!" I thank him. Our two minutes is almost up. Regis starts talking again as if he is the host. I glance over at Ferb who is giving me thumbs up. The only time I had seen him thumb up me like that was when Isabella had caught me from the haunted house. What had he meant this time? "Regis Philbin everybody!" I cheer and the crowd cheers even more before the curtain drops. That was fun. I look over at Isabella who is winding up some cord offstage. Yet, it is something I am going to regret too. Eh, in time, I will tell her just not yet.
