Dumbledore's Crush

Dumbledore's Crush

Dumbledore walked down the corridor, passing her. He had left his glasses in his dorm, but that couldn't spoil his mood. Every time he saw her, all of his worries and problems evaporated. She was so sweet. He wished she would take more notice of him, treat him as more than just headmaster.

Seeing her every day gave him more pleasure than anything else. She stood so straight, watching him, as he smiled warmly back at her.

One day, he decided to ask her out. The worst that could happen was she would turn him down.

That afternoon, he walked up to her. He cleared his throat and stammered, 'Hi. Um, would you like to go out for dinner?"

"Albus?" Professor McGonagall asked, sounding concerned, "why are you talking to a coat rack?"
