Hermione took a deep breath.
Today was the day! It was finally happening. She had dreamt of this day her whole life.
She had dreamt of her Prince Charming, the tall dark hottie that loved her.
In the end, she instead loved, and was loved by, a tall gangly ginger.
But she loved him and he loved her. That was all that mattered.
Her parents loved him and got on well with all of the Weasleys. Harry had been beaming with happiness when they told him the news. She was all dressed up in the silky white dress that she had always wanted. Her hair was clipped up beautifully. She looked amazing.
But now she was having second thoughts. What if this wasn't a good idea? She and Ron were totally different! What if they got bored of each other? What if she regretted this day?

Ron took a deep breath.
Today was the day! It was finally happening. He had thought about this day for years!
He had thought about who he would fall in love with; a tall, beautiful woman, that lit up his world?
In the end, he instead loved, and was loved by, a nerd with bushy brown hair.
But he loved her and she loved him. And that was all that mattered.
All of his family knew and cared for Hermione, and his father particularly was thrilled to soon be related to muggles. His best mate was going to be his best man. He was all dressed up in the smart dress robes that his mum and Harry had helped him pick out. He fiddled with his collar. He looked good.
But now he was having doubts. What if this was a terrible idea? What if Hermione didn't turn up? What if they got bored of each other in the future? What if he regretted this day?

Hermione looked in the mirror.
This was it.

Ron reached the end of the aisle and turned to smile at the guests.
This was it!

Ginny led Hermione to the doors.
Hermione was still fretting. Was this the right decision?

The bridesmaids, Fleur and Angelina made their way up the aisle.
Ron played with his sleeves. Was this the right thing to do?

Then Hermione saw Ron.
He was standing there nervously, twiddling his fingers and looking terrified. The dress robes weren't the best fit and he had messed up his hair.
She had never seen him more handsome.
He looked up and she saw the look on his face when he spotted her, and he was looking at her as if she was the most incredible being on the planet.
She loved him and he loved her.
This was the right decision.

Then Ron saw Hermione.
She was biting her lip, and looking at Ron with an anxious expression on her face. Her dress hung off her form perfectly and her hair was pulled up neatly out of her face.
He had never seen her more beautiful.
She was looking at him as though he lit up her world, and was the most amazing being she had ever seen.
He loved her and she loved him.
This was the right decision.

Hermione didn't know how she had ever doubted. She would never ever regret this.

Ron didn't know how he had ever doubted. This was the best decision he had ever made.
