Terra woke up hearing her mom sobbing. "Mom are you okay?" she asked sad to hear that even her strong willed mother was in tears over her fathers capture. He had been taken to jail, because he was seen earthbending. "Oh, honey," her mom whispered wiping her tears.

The next morning Terra was walking to the market when she saw Firenation guards arresting a man. She tried to close her eyes and ignore it and just continue walking, but his screams and cries were almost too much to bear. "I have a family, they need me! Please, please!" he called. Terra felt the earth under her feet shift just a little. She wanted to help him, but she knew it would just result in both of them being thrown into Firenation prison. So like a weakling she walked away.

She had heard legends of a young avatar trying stop them, stop the firebenders from destroying hope, peace, and happiness. She didn't see any evidence of him. "Terra," "Yeah mom?" "I love you, always remember that." "I love you too mom," Terra said a bit worried by the tone in her moms voice.

That was the last time Terra ever saw her mom.

Terra had nowhere to go, nowhere to live. She missed her mom, and wondered what happened to her every day. Now she only had one hope to get her happiness back, she had to break her dad out of jail.

She went outside, and searched for a Firenation guard. When she found one she began putting her plan into action. She moved the earth under her feet, making her fly with the floating platform. Then she hit the guard with a small pebble. The guard looked around confused at first, until he spotted the floating girl. "Hey! How dare you attack an official Firenation guard!" hey said angrily. "Oh, I dare!" Terra screamed back hitting the man with more pebbles. He quickly shot fire at her. "You are hereby under arrest by the Firenation!" he yelled then shot Terra with another blast of flames, this one hit her. Terra didn't even flinch (though it did hurt) she just came to ground in surrender.

Terra walked through the prison grounds searching for her father. Then she spotted him, he was sitting on the ground looking defeated. She walked over to him "Hi dad!" "Terra?" her father asked looking at her with wet eyes.

Terra continues her plan with step two earthbending her way out. Of course the prison is completely metal to prevent escape no earth anywhere, accept Terra's dress. Terra shakes out her dress and the rocks fly out. "WOW! You smuggled earth?" her dad asked shocked and bewildered. "Yep!" Terra said with a smile, then she earthbended all of the little pebbles together to make a small platform. "I wish I could help everyone, but right now it's just me and you," she said as her and her father climbed on the rock formation. Terra lifted the rock into the air just as a guard yelled "Halt! Halt!" and started shooting firebolts at them, but Terra and her dad got away.
