This story is based off a RP storyline my friend and me are doing. We are each going to write a chapter. I'll let you know who's who in the A/N. I don't own Tangled or any of the characters, they belong to Disney. R&R and enjoy.
She always thought that she would die of old age, with family surrounding her. Her children, her grandchild and even her great-grandchildren. Not like this. Not laying in bed with the love of her life crying over her. Not laying in bed with her mother and father crying at the other end of the room. No, she never imagined her death like this at all.
"Eugene..." She spoke in a whisper. He looked to her with tears falling from his eyes. "I...I love you." She said. He sniffed once and took her hand in his.
"I love you too Blondie..." He choked out. He kissed her slowly cooling hand and touched her cheek with his free one. She smiled sadly to him once and held his hand tightly as the light from her eyes faded away.
"Always...be...with...you..." She spoke. The color from her cheeks faded and the color in her eyes disappeared. Her hand went limp in his, signaling the lost princess was gone for good. He cried quiet as her mother look for comfort in the king's arms.
"Always be with you." He heard in his head over and over.
