To Be Gone
She knew that it couldn't be helped, really she did. But she couldn't help it when she cried as soon as it was done.
Hinata just knew that he would leave her as soon as she fell asleep.
And he did.
She cried over it, she had been very tempted kill herself from the sheer loneliness that she suffered in this secluded land.
They barely talked nowadays. Did he even love her anymore?
Once a month he would come.
He teleported to her side, as he always did. She resisted the urge to latch onto him, the fear that she would get rejected by his sands, again, made her lay still. For a moment there was silence, as though he were contemplating something.
Like always…
He pressed his lips against hers, whispering her name. It nearly made her shiver, but he did this every time.
Gaara-kun…
She lay still; she then opened her eyes looking at him, unable to force a smile to her lips.
He would be gone until morning, but her eyes still were wide.
"G-Gaara!" She gasped; it still surprised her to see him there.
She had once needed only herself, but now she relied solely on Gaara.
His disappointment broke her heart, the hurt look. She kissed him, hopefully this night, unlike so many nights she would manage to clear away the loneliness.
Maybe tonight I'll be good enough…
Lalala! Maybe I should leave it at this? I am working on the sequel to all of this, as well as the prequel, I made Hinata a Geisha for the purpose of adding many OCs to the second part. I think this is an interesting twist on things!
It's two completely different point of views.
Hinata does have a fear that comes true every time he comes, he leaves her.
Gaara can sense that he's doing something wrong but he just can't figure out what!
Just because they are married does not mean that they are in sync with the thoughts of each other. Human's can only guess what another is thinking.
