Summary: Cassie's thoughts of Thelma
Author's Notes: Disclaimer: These are not my characters or show. Also, I'm new at this fanfic writing so bare with me and hopefully I'll get better.
Cassie looks out over the small lake in front of her. She didn't know why she was here. Here best friend Thelma was pulled from the lake a couple of days ago. It makes her sad being here but it was worse in their room. Their room screams Thelma. All of Thelma's stuff was still in there and all Cassie wants to do is cry when she's there.
They said it was a suicide. That she probably killed herself after our argument. Little do they know that that was not the truth. That her friend died, sacrificing herself to save Cassie. She held Thelma and felt the life, drain out of her body. She thought it all a dream until they pulled her from the lake.
She watches as the wind causes ripples in the water.
Some say water is supposed to have a calming affect on people. It had an opposite affect or Cassie. No amount of water could soothe her tortured soul.
