...wow, it's been quite a while
this is the first chapter in a requested story that was requested a long time ago by my dear friend Livi~
disclaimer: I will never own the MySims franchise, the only character I own is Cadence
Heya, Pal!
Today was our first day helping the citizens of Cutopia. There's not that many people on this island: there's Duchess Beverly (the ruler, kinda like King Roland back home), her son Lord Daniel, their knight Sir Spencer, Poppy, and her older sister Violet. The Duchess also owns three prize-winning bunnies: Alistair, Penelope, and Millicent. They're so fluffy!
Our first day started off with Cadence, Lyndsay, and I breaking up a fight between Poppy and Violet; she doesn't come to town as often, but when she does they'd end up arguing. I don't like it when people fight! Lyndsay and I don't get along sometimes, but we've never fought before. She'd probably win anyways.
After Violet had left, Poppy suggested we go see Duchess Beverly at her palace towards the middle of the island. It wasn't hard to miss, it was huge and pink. Then, Poppy went off to water her garden.
Sir Spencer was guarding the castle door. We could hear the Duchess and her son yelling about some festival they were throwing tomorrow. Cadence and Lyndsay went inside to see if they could calm the two down while Spence and I talked about video games (he plays PallyQuest, too!) Supposedly, there are numerous pieces of white armor scattered around the kingdom and Spence would do anything to collect them all. I didn't make any promises, but I said we'd keep an eye out for them.
My friends walked out of the palace with the Duchess and Daniel behind them. The Duchess had already given Cadence a scroll with details to re-decorate the palace (inside and out) for the festival Poppy had mentioned earlier. As our Royal Wandolier friend got to work, Lyndsay and I went off and explored the island. We found a run-down cookie shop (formerly owned by Grandma Ruthie, who moved shop to Spookane), a few empty houses (with "SOLD" signs out front), and we found Violet's abode. It was really dark and scary there! I don't know how Violet feels at home there! I wasn't so afraid, though. Lyndsay was right by my side and I know she'd never let anything bad happen to me.
Violet really misses her home back on Spookane, but she wanted to stay close to Poppy to make sure she was safe. She also doesn't mind the attention that Lord Daniel has been giving her lately. She wondered what the boys back home would think of him as well.
By the time Cadence had finished decorating the palace for the Festival, it was already nighttime. The three of us went to Poppy's place to see if she'd let us stay the night. She's so nice, she welcomed us right in and made us some hibiscus tea. We all sat around her living room and talked until we could barely keep our eye open. Poppy invited Cadence to sleep in her room, while Lyndsay and I got the room right aside of them.
I can't wait for the Festival tomorrow! I'm gonna ask Lyndsay if she wants to go with me in the morning! Wish me luck!
Until Then,
Buddy
