Happy April Fools Day! For today I havestarted a story about the Stolls. This is just the beginning of the story and pranks will come next! Enjoy!

The school year was coming to a close and she knew this summer would be very important.

Cassandra Stoll woke up and prepared for a normal day. Well, a normal Stoll day.

She got dressed and headed downstairs for breakfast She proceeded carefully down the stairs avoiding all the possible traps and went to the kitchen. She stepped over the tripwire one brother had set up for the other.

Cassandra prepared to make coffee but first she placed a bucket beneath the cabinet that had the coffee grounds. She opened the door and ping-pong balls of all sorts of colors fell out and landed mostly in the bucket.

She didn't even blink. She'd come to expect it like all their other crazy antics.

Breakfast was ready when 10-year old Travis and 9-year old Conner came downstairs. Travis was in front of Conner and he failed to notice the tripwire. He fell over and Conner snickered. "Gotcha!" he said happily and stepped over it into the kitchen.

Travis got up and grinned evilly. "I'd say you'd best watch out, brother dearest" and he joined his family at the table. Conner paled a bit. His brother was good at revenge.

"Time to eat guys," Cassandra said addressing her sons. "You don't want to be late for school," the boys groaned at the mention of school. "And by the way, you need to up your game on the pranks. They're too predictable."

The brothers grinned. They loved that their mom was okay with their pranking, even telling them they should improve.

They all finished breakfast and the next ten minutes were chaos. It was a mad rush of everyone checking that they had what they needed for the day.

Cassandra looked in her purse and turned to Travis. She held out her hand expectantly. Travis reluctantly pulled her wallet out of his pocket. He handed it to her with an innocent smile.

She flipped through her wallet and addressed Conner this time.

"Conner," she stretched out his name as she put her hands on her hips.

"But Mom!" he whined.

She put out her hand and waited. Conner pouted but handed her the ten dollar bill he had hid in his pocket.

Everthing seemed to be in order as she rushed the boys out of the house. "Don't miss the bus!" she called after them. They turned around and waved, "Bye, Mom!" they said simultaneously. She worried that she'd have to say goodbye to them too soon.

At dinner Cassandra brought up a topic she didn't want to talk about. "How do you guys feel about camp?" she asked them.

"Like what kind of camp?" Travis asked. "Like an arts and crafts kind of camp?"

"Or more like an adventure kind of camp?" Conner asked eagerly.

Cassandra laughed softly. "Probably more like an adventure kind of camp." she answered.

The boys looked at each other, then at their mom. "That sounds cool!" they said at the same time.

Travis and Conner were going to sleep in their room. They were both settled in the twin beds in the room. Their mom tucked them in and turned the lights off. Conner waited until he heard his mother's footsteps fade.

"Travis?" he said.

"Yeah, Connie?" Travis replied.

"Something really weird happened in school today. I can't really explain it." Conner said sounding a little scared.

"Try anyway," Travis said now interested.

"Well this is going to sound really weird I saw a teacher in the hallway and she hissed when i passed and her eyes changed color. Am I going crazy?" Conner said worried.

"I've seen something like that too. But don't worry we're probably both crazy." Travis laughed softly, "We probably aren't getting enough sleep so now we're seeing things." Travis tried to comfort him with a reasonable explanation, but he was worried. If both of them saw the weird teachers and people he definitely wasn't going crazy.

"Probably because of your snoring, Connie" Travis teased.

"But Travie, how can you hear my snoring over yours? I swear sometimes it sounds like there's an elephant in here!" Conner said smiling.

They both laughed a bit and went to sleep.

It was the first day of summer vacation and Cassandra was driving her sons to camp.

"Travis, Conner there's something you should know about this camp."

The boys looked at each other nervously. "What, Mom?"

"This camp is. . . different. While you're there you'll a few important life skills." She was stretching the truth and trying to keep it as normal as possible. "It'll be a little dangerous, but that's what adventures are like." She was partially talking to her self.

"You might even get to use some weapons. Be like the heroes in the stories I've told you."

"You mean the Greek stories?" Conner asked.

She nodded. "Yeah, like that."

"So the camp kind of has a theme?" Travis asked.

"Sort of. But it'll be fun don't you think?" she asked wrapping up the conversation. "Look we're here!" She parked at the bottom of the hill with the pine tree.

She walked with them to the top of the hill. Travis and Conner each had one suitcase and a backpack ( the backpack was probably full of pranking items).

"The director of the camp knows you're coming today." she told them. "You guys just have to go to the big blue house." They looked down into the valley and identified where they should be going.

Before they left Cassandra gave them each a hug. "Bye guys! I can't wait till you come home at the end of the summer." The boys smiled at her and started down to the Big House. "I'll miss you!" she called after them. "Bye, Mom!" they said, just like they were going to the bus stop.

A/N: So the next few chapters will be about the first few years at camp (there wil be pranks!). So did anybody play any good pranks? My teacher got the class good. If you want to know more ill PM it to you. This is unrelated but I feel I have to talk a little bit about it. I read this really good book called The Last Dragonslayer. It's really funny. I'll put the summary on my profile soon. Thanks for reading!
