"Ok we're leaving this freak ass temple now," spoke Zidane with a shaking voice.
And with that they were off.... all 8 of them... Zidane, Dagger, Vivi, Steiner, Amarant, Freya, Quina, and Eiko.
As they turned a corner, Quina spotted a little fish swimming in a small pool of water
It was amazing that there was water in a volcano. But just as Quina reached for the fish, the earth beneath him/her
gave out and he/she went tumbling down in to the lava. Quina was dead. But nobody cared for that thing. It always
caused them to go slower. So they kept going.
Faster and faster they went, closer and closer the the entrance of the fire temple from where they had entered.
There was a light in the distance and they knew they were close. But just then Freya cried out "Help!!"
Her foot had been caught in the rocks. Then the most surprising thing happened. Amarant went running back for Freya.
When he was almost to her, the ceiling gave out and both Freya and Amarant were crushed beneath.
But they all kept running. Faster and faster. Almost to the entrance. But without warning, spears flew out of the
stone walls. Dagger, Vivi, Steiner and Eiko managed to make it. They thought they were home free when they looked
back and saw a horrible scene. Zidane, on his knees, clutching his stomach, a pool of blood at his feet already.
They ran back.... but all of the sudden a pile of boulders fell from the ceiling, right in between Zidane and the others.
*thats not good* . Dagger tried to find a way around, but Steiner pulled her away. The whole place was exploding.
With it went all 4 of the companions *cornyness man cornyness* As soon as they were out, they ran as far as they could.
They watched the shrine in the volcano crumple to bits. And all they couldn't stop thinking of the people that had gone
with it.
