Reading Addicted here! I had a wonderful Christmas and I got some really good answers to a few questions I had. This is my first Harry Potter fan fiction. Happy New Year! I don't own The Harry Potter series, or a Volkswagen/ Punch Buggy.
'Expelliarmus!" Neville shouted. Pansy's wand flew out of her hand. Neville looked at it, stunned. Had he really done that? Apparently yes, because cheers and clapping was the response. He had actually done it, for the first time!
Harry told him good job, and then gave instructions for the next DA meeting. They wouldn't meet again until after Christmas. This saddened Neville a bit. He wouldn't be able to use magic outside of school. Or see Luna Lovegood until it was over.
Neville had a crush on the dreamy, carefree blonde. He thought her oddness was just her way of expressing herself, while other people found it strange. People called her "Loony Lovegood" behind her back. Neville thought she was adorable.
Neville picked up his stuff and walked towards the door. The Room of Requirement was quite an awesome room. It provided a practice room for their secret DA meetings, so that they could learn to defend themselves. It was like the castle wanted them to fight back.
He was just about to exit the room when he tripped over a pair of short legs. He fell flat on his face. He heard a familiar voice say" Are you okay Neville? The Nargles must be messing with your head." said Luna Lovegood. He looked up to see a pair of sky-blue eyes very close to his. Luna extended her hand to help him up.
He grabbed it and she pulled him to his feet. He looked at their hands and blushed. They were holding hands. Her hand looked like a child's in his large one. She let go and said' I'm quite lost. The Nargles must be messing with my head as well. Would you mind helping me find my corridor?" Neville replied" Sure, Luna. I wouldn't mind it a bit.'
She smiled and started skipping towards the stairs. She was going completely the wrong way though. 'Luna, wait up!" Neville shouted. She stopped on the middle of a staircase and looked back up at Neville. He easily caught up to her and grabbed her arm to lead her back to the Ravenclaw Tower. He started to say something, but that was cut short when the stairs decided to move. Thanks to his clumsiness, he fell backwards dragging Luna down with him.
He blushed the color of phoenix feathers, scrambling up, while muttering apologies to Luna. Luna seemed completely unfazed though. She said" It's alright Neville. This has been quite an adventure. I know how to get to the Tower from here.' He said' I can walk you there if you want me to, Luna." She said" It's alright Neville. I can find my way back" With that she kissed him on the cheek, and skipped off to the Ravenclaw Tower.
Neville stood there, with his hand on his cheek. He just got his first kiss from Luna Lovegood. Getting lost with Luna Lovegood had excellent benefits. Now just how to get back to the Gryffindor Tower…..
