Pairing ShigurexAyame

Warnings implied smut and crossdressing

Summary Shigure was good at his job.

Author note: Really, really old piece. I've rediscovered old notebooks.

Shigure Sohma was a romantic. Many people could argue and call him a pervert but Ayame could, and would (loudly), tell them otherwise. Every Valentine's Day Gure-san sent the snake beautiful rose bouquets of red and white along with delicious chocolates. The evening was spent dining at a ridiculously priced restaurant followed by passionate lovemaking with Ayame wearing his latest creation for the novelist.

The dog had a way with words that made the other blush like a school girl without even a hint of innuendo. He could weave a beautiful tapestry with his voice as poetic as Shakespeare himself.

There was a reason Shigure wrote romance, he was good at it. Just like there was a reason he wrote smut, he was good at that too. For some reason, though, people tended to focus more on the latter than the former and Shigure let (even encouraged) them.

Ayame just wondered why.

"Because," the dog had responded, "That's what they like to think. And besides," he glanced up from his book, "so long as you know, I don't care about the rest."
