Chapter 1: The return

Alone in the dark and coldness world, I remember all the things I've been through. The first time I went to the Cirque and stole a poison spider from a man who isn't a human but a vampire, and then my friend was bit by that spider so I have to find that vampire. He bloods me as a half vampire and let become his assistance. At first I don't want to become one but to save my best friend life I have to. Mr,Creapsley and me traveled around the world. I made lots of friends in the cirque Evra Von is my best pal he's the snake boy who can put his tongue into his nose.

I heard voices in my ears; they are calling me to come back. Then I slowly open my eyes. I saw a long dark brown hair young woman in front of me "Darren!! Darren!!" she called. I ignore her and look around thinking where I am and what I'm doing in here. Is this heaven? The room is all white I saw some people coming and look at me, "Mr. Shan!! Can you hear me? Can you see me?" the men with white clothes said. I couldn't speak; my mouth is all dried up. "Nurse gives me that water." He said. The young women pass the cup of water to him, he tour the water inside my mouth to let me speak.

"W…Where am I…? W…Who…are…you?" I moan a bit. I could feel by whole body full of painful and tiring.

"I'm a doctor. You are now in the hospital you've been drowning by the water and these ladies found you and take you in here." He said.

"H…How l…long has…I…slept?" I asked.

"You've been slept by half a year and more, it is miracle that you're still alive." He said.

Darren look at the young women, she has long dark brown hair wearing dark blue dress. Her brown eyes looks at mine, she looks worry and tired likes she hadn't slept a weeks! Then I remember this young woman is my sister Annie!!

My eyes got wide I tried to stand up and hug her but my body is very painful when I moved. "Annie!!" I gasp hardly.

Annie cried hardly she run in front me and hug me tightly, I ignore the pain of my body and try to hug her back.

"Darren!! Don't ever leave me alone!! I'm scared that you will leave me behind again!!" she cried.

I lean my hands to her face then wipe away those tears in her cheek. I smile at her "Annie…I'm here with you, so don't worry, I won't leave you again." Annie stop sobbing, the doctor has left the room.

Then I look at the woman next to Annie. It is Lady Evanna, the daughter of Desmond Tiny and his half sister.

She smile to me "It's good to see you back, Darren." She said. I only smile a bit "It's good to see you too. Evanna." I said. Then the room was silent a minute.

"I know this is hard, Darren. But father is getting worse, I can't do it on my own, I need your help, that's why I bring you back. The war between our fathers isn't over yet." She said.

I hate to say this but I don't want to be in the battle field, I just want to be with Mr. Creapsley together in the paradise happily with no worries. I slowly shut my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Why….why I have to do this? How could I do? Mr. Creapsley isn't in here; I don't know what to do!" I calm.

Evanna smile to the corner of the door, "I know you will say that. You can come out now, Larten." She said.

I look at the corner of the door. I saw a tall man wearing a red cloak. His orange hair and wise eyes look at me. I could see his face had a long scar from the cheek to the lips. My eyes started to wet. I notice that I'm crying.

"It's been a while Master Shan." He said gently. He slowly walks until next to me. I looked at him happily.

"Mr. Creapsley… It is really you?" I asked stupidly. He grinned widely and hugs me tightly.

"Yes…Darren it's me. I'm back." He whispers. I could feel he is crying as well. I hug him back and cry. "Don't leave me… again." I said silently.
