Prologue
"I will always love you darling" said the man in black as he dropped the child on the doorstep of the orphanage. Just before he left, he turned and said "I will return for you."
Three weeks later
"Are you sure you want this child?" asked the orphanage worker, "she is only five weeks old and you have a one year old at home!"
"I understand that, but James and I feel Harry may need a sibling to connect with, and since I am unable to have another child this is our best option." the beautiful, young woman replied. The old woman looked across the desk at little Morgana, who was sleeping. "Well alright, you can come back and sign the papers later" she said, "for now, take her and this note left by her father."
A young Lily Potter took the child in her arms and the note in her bag, wondering why Morgana's birth father would leave such a beautiful child.
Two weeks later
Lily smiled, Harry and Morgana had been getting along wonderfully. She had recently noticed that Morgana was a Metamorphmagis. Lily laughed at the thought that someday a boy would hit on Morgana and Harry would go all macho big brother on his arse. She was however, snapped out of her daydream by a pounding on the door "Lily! LILY! Take the kids and run. He's coming, and I'm going to hold him off as long as I can! Take them and stay safe!" yelled James. Lily opened the door, "I love you." she stated, he grabbed her waist and they shared a rushed, yet passionate kiss before going their seprate ways. After James went, Lily looked for a place to hide Morgana. If she apparated, death eaters would only find her later. The dark lord knew of Harry's existance, but not Morgana's. Lily hoped that by hiding them in separate places if one of them were to be found there was hope for the other. She spotted the old toy chest in the nursery corner and quickly kissed Morgana on the head, "Mummy loves you, mummy will always love you." She shut the toy chest, leaving it open just a crack so the child could breathe.
As Lily made her way to Harry's crib, she heard the screams of her husband. He was coming. She could only whisper an "I love you Harry" before the door to the nursery burst open. The Dark lord killed Lily instantly. And I am pretty sure you know what comes next:
Harry "defeats" the dark lord
Hagrid comes and gets the children (he and Dumbledoor know about Morgana)
The two live a dreadful life at the Dursleys until later on
That is my prologue :) The story will get better I promise, I just needed that for later in the story. The story starts in their fourth year and will hopefully go on until after the Battle of Hogwarts. I really hope you enjoyed this.
Morgana's Metamorphmorgis colors:
Happy- yellow
Embarassed/blushing- bright pink
Frustrated- Orange
Suprised- light green
Angry- Bright red
scared- light blue
betrayed- neon green
nervous- navy blue
sad- bright blue
Her hair and nails only turn those colors when she is really deep in emotion. Her normal hair color is dark brown and really curly. She has brown eyes. When she is at the peak of her emotions her eye color will change.
