Thank you for reading my stories. I hope all of you wonderful people have a fantastic Christmas and a happy New Year! Tootles!

Once a upon a time...

There was a elven girl and she lived with his mother, father and brother in a rich home in a beautiful city. She was odd girl not wanting to play with the other children. She had magic running in her blood so she practiced that instead of playing. Around came the what they call now The New Life Festival. Oh the joy! Oh the gift giving! But the girl wasn't joyful. She didn't like New Life. To her it was weird that people would want to waste important time to give things that wouldn't last! Her mother made her dress up in pretty dresses and go to parties. Oh the thought of wasting time on people! But that changed. See that kingdom was built on slaves and as that little girl dream that the slaves would one day revolt and destroy her people. But years passed and that girl forgot that terrible dream on New Life.

Exactly four years later she awoke to smoke. The city was burning! The girl ran to her window and saw slaves running around the streets, torches in their hands and a bloodthirsty look in their eyes. She stumbled around trying to find her parents but all she found were their bodies. She screamed for her brother. I can't tell you how alone that little girl felt. Calling for her brother, alone, but her brother was alive! He hid with her in a barrel and together they waited for the nightmare to stop. But a slave found them. They thought they would die but the man had pity and took them in. He said they were his children they lived a happy childhood with him but that is were the story ends. See the point is that nothing lasts forever and you need to cherish the people you love or, like that little girl, you might lose them. But I have a feeling that life hasn't had enough of the girl and her brother yet...

Just a little one-shot about the desolation of the Ayleids. Search them on Elder Scrolls Wiki! They're quite fascinating. I know it's sad for Christmas but I wrote it in a night so... yeah. And that little girl and her brother we might see them again...
