A/N: I know I haven't posted anything in a long time, but I got some reviews that made me want to reread a few of my old one-shots, which in turn made me want to write this.

Dreams

Dark, cold, familiar.

Water.

A flash of orange.

Fish.

How did I get in the ocean?

"Percy."

A voice, also familiar, coming from everywhere and nowhere.

"Percy, wake up."

Wake up? I don't remember falling asleep.

"Seaweed Brain!"

Percy woke with a start, sitting up only to bash his forehead into Annabeth's.

"Ow!"

"Sorry, you startled me." He smiled sheepishly.

"Well, I wouldn't have had to if you hadn't slept in so late." She laughed, happy and carefree.

"Sorry," He laughed with her "I think my alarm clock might be a bit water damaged."

"Of course it is." She said sceptically.

"Hey, I am a son of Poseidon; and it isn't my fault the thing isn't waterproof."

"I guess you have a point there, Seaweed Brain, now are you coming to breakfast with me or not?"

"I'll follow you anywhere, Wise Girl."

Percy woke up, drowsy and confused.

It was a dream?

He knew it wasn't real, that there were no cabins like that in the Roman camp, but it had all seemed so real. He couldn't shake the feeling of loneliness after seeing that girl in his dreams yet again. At least now he knew her name.

"Annabeth."
