Once again, no I have not forgotten about Consequences... I have a chapter to type up and after that I've hit a block :(

Coming Home
Home, the one thing that was always on his mind, especially since he found her. She wormed her way into his heart somehow when he wasn't looking. He knew to never turn away from an enemy, but she wasn't his enemy. She was trusted. So it shouldn't have been a surprise since she had already worked herself into his good graces.
She also earned his respect. She was a spitfire. Her emotions ruled her and yet they weren't a weakness, like he so thought. They drove her to do things almost impossible for a woman, let alone a human to do. And yet because of her emotions he had come to know her.
She learned to read him, somehow, somewhere. It was all because he had trusted her. She had many chances to turn and run, to tell his secrets. To tell how he really could be. She's the only one who has ever seen the real him. Him being the Lord to the Western Lands, he couldn't show himself to anyone least they use it against him. It was a weakness he was not going to show. He doesn't have any weaknesses. Except her, and yet she wasn't a weakness he thought she would be. She brought him strength in her ever strong loyalty and faith. She never gave up on him.
His lover, his other half and now his mate, Kagome. His brother never gave up on the dead miko and the one full of life finally gave up on his brother. And now she was his.
He goes home to her every night. She welcomes him with open arms. They find a comfort in each other's presences that none could ever replace. They are in love and they are young, they have forever.
