Preface: Makeover

Hermione Granger has been perfect at everything except for two things: flying and getting a guy to notice her. Since she was going to be a seventh year, she decided to get a makeover. She asked one of her muggle friends, Megan, who was very stylish, to help her.

"Finally!" Megan sighs, "It took you long enough, Mia."

"So you'll do it?" Hermione asks.

"Duh!" Megan replies.

The next day, they went to the salon where Hermione got her hair straightened, given a few blond highlights, and her nails done. After the salon, they went to the mall to get Hermione a new wardrobe including shoes, bags, and accessories for each outfit. By the time Hermione got home from dropping Megan off at home, she went straight to her room, dropped her bags of clothes, and was fast asleep before her head hit the pillow.
