It's another beautiful day at Micro-Grand Academy. Hinano walks slowly beside Cacao and it's obvious that they're not getting along today.
"I told you, Hinano, I have a big project to complete today. Professor Ganache wants it by the end of the day and I haven't even started. What makes you think I have time to have lunch with you?"
"But Cacao, you love me enough to finish your project quickly. Like magic, huh? You're welcome!"
Closeby, the elite and ever-popular Deborah and Murakata see each other for the very first time today. They run in slow motion to each other's arms, tossing people out of the way left and right, bounding over benches and bookbags. They finally embrace each other and a random wave crashes over everyone on the Micro-Grand quad.
"Oh, Captain Murakata, the wings of our love have lifted us over our given obstacles. It's far too strong to be slowed down by scholastic props."
"Deborah, I love it when you know what you're talking about. And yes, our love is strong, like a talented lumberjack!"
Red Bean and Green Tea are hiding in the janitor's closet. They get carried away by fantasies of fame and fortune and somehow they forget exactly what mission their master gave them.
"What is gray and red all over?"
"An embarrassed elephant."
"And scene!"
Wheat is writing observations about the two strange girls she saw, namely Red Bean and Green Tea. She wonders idly what they are staking the school out for and if they will get caught soon. Sardine is right next to her hacking away at one of the school's laptops. He is trying to find a rule that stipulates the forbiddance of visitors during the school day.
"8:15, having just witnessed a pair of seemingly lowbrow characters waltz into the building and take cover in the custodian's closet, I'd say we're in for a heck of a day at Micro-Grand Academy."
"Asthma is an important disease affecting millions!!!"
Truffle arrives to school right after Hinano and he gets out of his sports limousine trying to get her attention. He waves at her madly and he almost takes off flying. He sits down on one of the school benches and bunches his fists together. He heaves a sigh of partial defeat and his eyes well up with frustrated tears.
"I will court Hinano someday. My love is too fabulous and rich to be overlooked."
Almond has been following Cacao and Hinano all this time and has been unusually quiet. The reason behind this was that Almond had not woken up quite yet. Now he was feeling extremely alert and his thoughts immediately turned to his stomach.
"Cacao, I'm hungry. Let's skip school for food."
