Lennie is gone, and now George is on his own. What will happen to George now that his best friend is dead? (NOTE: this is an English Project that is being graded. No reviews that include foul language please!

1. Chapter 1

Of Mice and Men Sequel: Of Dreams and Lennie

A/N this is just an English project. The entire thing is dedicated to my English teacher. Not naming the chapters this time sorry

CH 1:

"I dunno," answered Curley. "I dunno." Curley looked at Lennie's body and spit.

"You glad he's dead," Carlson asked.

"'Course I am," replied Curley. "The crazy bastard killed my wife." From a distance, Carlson and Curley heard someone yelling their names. It was Candy running. A cop was right behind him. Candy stopped to catch his breath when he reached Carlson and Curley.

"What seems to be the problem here, fellas," the cop asked, clearly not acknowledging the dead body on the ground.

"Well, ya see this dead guy here," Curley asked. The cop looked down.

"What in the hell," the cop said in shock. "Which one of you's killed 'im off?"

"None of us did," Carlson said, "Bastard killed Curley's wife, stole my Luger, and ran off. Guy named George Milton ran off to find 'im and got my Luger and killed 'im."

"Where is this fella named 'George Milton'," demanded the cop.

"Went off with our skinner, Slim," Curley answered, "Musta went to a bar for some whisky."
